Implementing a HSE Policy to ensure responsible and ethical business conduct and safeguard of occupational health and safety of people, property, and environment

Conducting a review of the Company’s HSE performance by the Board of Directors and senior leadership as well as at the project level with contractors and suppliers, in line with our goal of Zero Harm

Undertaking safe construction practices and job safety assessments to overcome challenging work conditions experienced at roads and water project sites

Implementation of a comprehensive Road Safety Plan to deploy and monitor safety measures across sites and ensure safe and smooth construction
Deploying safety systems at high-risk operations to achieve the goal of zero accidents
Installing specially designed Safety Nets to minimise the impact of an unexpected fall from work-at-height locations

Training and awareness programmes on ‘Safety in Construction’ for WEL employees as well as contractors

Risk-based skill development and safety workshops to inculcate safety consciousness amongst workers & contractors and improve their outlook towards prevention of loss
Site demonstrations, classroom sessions, virtual and online trainings conducted throughout the year, including through specially designed e-learning modules

Regular HSE audits on each project to ensure employee safety, regulatory compliance and environmental compliance

Observing National Safety Week and Road Safety Awareness campaigns to promote HSE discipline and raise awareness about the importance of safe working practices
